Why I haven't been posting...
The reason is....BECAUSE I FORGET!
Today as I was cleaning the kitchen after our late, late, breakfast I realized how my little sister Izzy was being a 'little helper!' She brought me all the dishes, wiped the table, swept the floor (trying to) and cleaned the patio glass door. She is only 3 and she already knows that cleaning and helping around the house is important. I know quite a few young children, from the ages of 2-6 who don't know a thing about cleaning. They will just literally sit and stare at you cleaning up there mess. I find this annoying and a task in which is missing and hasn't been enforced yet. We might as well start young and the more siblings that come around the less you'll have to do :)
That's what I've learned!
The way of the slothful man is as an hedge of thorns: but the way of the righteous is made plain. Proverbs 15:19 (kjv.)
Slothful: Inactive; sluggish; lazy; indolent; idle. He that is slothful in his work

New Poll
Ok everyone, I updated my poll and added a new question, (as you can see). Maybe some of you don't fully understand what I'm saying?! Well, this is what I mean....before you commit yourselves or attempt to any activity or whatever it is, do you keep those words in your mind, "What Would Jesus Do?" That my friends, is what I mean! Talk to ya later.....
I'm still alive!
Oh my goodness! Gosh, I am awful, I get soooooooooo busy with other duties and I literally just pass my blog, forgetting!
Check out my new 'library' at the bottom of the page. It's really COOL! I came across a blog earlier and I really wanted to get one like that! So, I just figured it out with the steps of, 1,2,3!
Since today is 'Good Friday' we are off of school, which gives me more time! :) So, I have been doing things which I normally don't have time to do when I'm in school! Anyways, we welcome spring with SNOW! I can't believe it that we have SNOW! Real SNOW! It's crazy! I honestly didn't believe the weather, but then when I woke up this morning I peeked out of the window, and I was in "SHOCK!" However, momma says to take any type of weather as a blessing. Well, that's easier said than done!!! So, we have a 'WHITE EASTER!" HAHA! That sounds real, "neat!"
This week I and my brother and two others from our church we'll be leading worship, "SINGING!" I am so nervous, nervous in a way that "I DON'T REALLY SING TOO WELL!" My entire family and my best friend always says, "Oh yeah, you have a great voice!" Ha-ha, don't think so! Anyways, as I was singing this week with my brother Marc, the song, "When I Survey the Wonderful Cross" I was really paying close attention to the words. They are just so beautiful and it puts me into a humbling spirit to think how much Jesus really loves me. Oh wretched soul that I am! As I prayed this morning, I said, "God, I have an evil and wicked heart, I'm dirty, I'm filthy, I don't deserve good." But, my God, my only God has such a compassion for me that he always blesses me in return! Don't we serve an AMAZING GOD?!

Thank you
I can see that you guys voted on my little poll on the side of the blog. Yeah!!! Thanks to everyone who participated in it. It looks like the vote "no" won!! Praise the Lord! I'm happy that you guys don't find your siblings annoying! However, there is one "yes" and I sure would like to know who that was (hee hee). Don't you worry, I won't find out!
The word "Pure"
It has been almost a week since my last post. I often think of doing some blogging after school, but then I also have the thought, well, I'm tired and just want to do something else, and then dinner rolls around and oops, what do you know, it's time for bed! Sorry guys, I'm not dedicated enough!!
I have a little question to ask everyone: "When you hear the word 'pure' tell me what you think!?"
Just leave a comment, it will do! You can leave one or two sentences or as many as you'd like! Have a blessed week!

The joy with siblings
I realized today that my younger siblings think I know what everything and where everything is. It is just sooooo funny. My brother Alec earlier asked me a question thinking I knew the answer. He said, "Vanessa do you know where that book is?" Hello, how should I know? What book? This happens sooooo often. I often am amused by the questions they ask. Having siblings is just awesome! It lightens up the whole atmosphere, I don't know what I would do without them. Even though many times we go through arguments, and fighting, but sometimes whenever we do fight, we stop and start laughing, because we realize how ridiculous we are acting! However, every moment with them is worth it. I don't ever have the sense of embarrassment going places with them. This one couple I know are always wondering how my family does it. They think we literally have a zoo of kids! It's ridiculous! I think the best present one could have is a family! What else do you need. You have someone to watch over you and to love you (parents); and you have playmates (siblings). There is never a boring moment in my house. We often have friends call who have one or two kids and they always say, "Wow, your guy's house is never quiet, is it?" No it's not! But I love the noise, often if I'm home alone, I can't stand it, so I make a ton of noise! I'm glad that I have these guys with me, I have an older brother and three below me! I couldn't be without my family!

Stay at-home daughters
How is everyone? Are you guys still hanging in their with this flu going around? I've heard of quite a few of people who have got it. It's a nasty thing! I really believe spring is definitely on its way, it will be good to wipe away the sickness! I am seeing with everyday an opening in the ground and I just know it's coming! It's not that shocking though, because it will be here on the 20 of March. I can see that our dog is experiencing spring already-he's shedding!
How many of you have seen the movie, 'The Return of the Daughters'? Now, that is a really good, documentary! I have spoken to a few girls at church and it looks like they all saw it, but those of you who haven't, I really recommend that you do see it. It's not something you can get in your local video store, (ha ha-wish you could) but you probably need to order it from http://www.visionforum.com/ or maybe your church library carries it?! When one of my friends first told me about it, I was like "What, what in the world is that all about?!" Anyways, you are probably wondering why it is so good, and why it should be watched?! Well, let me tell you!
There are not too many girls these days over the age of 18 or whenever graduated at home. Many girls decide to leave their home and head on to get a career, either getting a college degree or just picking up the shoe laces and want to make something of themselves. They want to show the world that girls can to do anything. They don't want to be known as the weaker vessel as the bible mentions women to be in 1 Peter 3:7. Girls want to show themselves to the world and they want to be the best of the best. They want to make themselves KNOWN! And when they do this, they simply allow the dangers from the world to come in. Instead of abiding under their father's house and following his plans for their lives, they think they can do it all themselves! That movie shows us how beautiful it is when a girl lives under her father's wings until her mate comes, and picks her up. I don't know very many girls who are still at home at the age of 18-20. I do know one specific young lady who is 18, and she is still at home, helping her parents with whatever needs to be done. She has be done with school since she was 17 and she is currently living with her family. I think that is very beautiful.
That movie my friends, is a MUST! It will change many of you in a good way. If you thought all your life that you need to get a career once you're done with high school, and just get out of your comfort zone and move on, YOU ARE WRONG! Helping your father is more satisfying for both you and him! Why do you want to help someone else out in a work environment, when you can please your own dad and father in heaven! Our world is deceiving young girls that you need to find yourself and staying with your family is just not right. They are telling you that you are wasting your years. I think they are trying to say, "YOU ARE NOT WASTING YOUR YEARS!"
I haven't graduated from high school yet, but will be in 2 years. I am not planning on going to college nor do I want to leave the house everyday and get a job. No thank you! I am planning with the help of my parents, to establish my own music studio. Where I will have a certain amount of children come to the home where I can teach them either the violin or piano. I can then carry that business whenever I get married and bring it to my own home someday, and that will always be a great help to the income. This is a great web to look at.

Same ol' blog
I decided to change my whole format and all the colors, and just the entire layout. So don't think that you've entered on the wrong blog, it's still the same ol' Vanessa, just a different look!
Long time
Hello everyone! Sorry I haven't been posting anything in a while, however, I got sick on Thursday afternoon and all Friday and started recovering Friday evening. It's Saturday, and I'm pretty much well again. My mom gave me all this healthy stuff, tea, and tons of liquids, and the main thing that cured me was the chicken broths. No one would ever think that, but my mom's homemade chicken broth helped! Anyways, I'm back to health, and back on my blog!!!! All the glory goes to my Lord and to my mom's chicken broths!!! PRAISE THE LORD!
