Be a DOER, not a HEARER!

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. James 1:22

Wow, that verse really struck me this morning. When I was praying all of a sudden it was as if God showed me that verse. Be doers of God's word, don't only listen to it, you are tricking yourself.

You can go you church every Sunday, go to all the bible studies, but if you just go there to listen just to have a 'good' conscience and not to live it, then it's nothing! You need to put God's word to use, live it everyday! Be a light, strive to live the word. Don't just hear what it has to say, but put it to WORK. Be a good example to those around you.

The majority of us know that we need to obey our father and mother. But do we really do it? That is a perfect example. We hear it all the time, when we are growing up we know that the bible says to, 'Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. Exodus 20:12' We know this verse in and out, but do we actually live it. Are we doing what it says, or are we just listening to it, and saying it over again but not living it?! All of us are guilty of this one. We know that disobeying is sinning, and by doing that we are being hearers of the word and not a doer.

What about this other example:

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matt. 28:19-20

Jesus has told us to share the gospel with the lost ones, do we all do it? No, we often shy away from it. We hear it all the time, "Share the gospel with your friends!" However, we back off and don't do it. Once again my friends, we are being hearers of the word and NOT doers!

Be a doer, soak up God's word, and then go out and show your light. Now don't be boastful about it, however, your actions will show it all. If you let God work through you, then he will and you will be amazed at what he will do!

Little instructions

This hit me a whole lot this past week.

'Remember that a minute of anger denies you sixty seconds of happiness!'

Wow!

For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. James 1:20

Anger is a condition in which the tongue works faster than the mind.

Here is just a quick reminder for this new week:

Keep God out this week, show him to others. Don't have him closed up in a box. Shine for Jesus, don't act as a hypocrite around others, be the light and be the one to change some one's life!

Children ARE a blessing!

Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate. Psalm 127:3-5

OK, I mentioned this verse on my post (May14), and I said I would have a upcoming post about the verse above. Well, I didn't intend to do it so soon, but the Lord gave me time too!

Now, lets see where I will start.....alright, I know a few might go against me, but you aren't going against me, but God. The verse above is one of those verses where a few Christians try to ignore. This makes me very sad. I know many families where they limit themselves from having children. This verse speaks for itself. Literally there doesn't need any explanation needed. It clearly says that children are a blessing, they are a reward. NOT a pain as many say these days. I don't understand when people say how having more children is nothing but stress and money. Children bring joy into a family. You don't need TV, you don't need a computer, you don't need any sort of entertainment, as long as there is always a baby in the home. Isn't that so true?

My heart breaks when I hear young mothers saying how they want no more than 2 children. Or when you hear others say, "A boy for him, a girl for her, praise the Lord we're all through!" Doesn't this just hurt you? I can't just imagine why one would say such a thing. I know I'm still very young, but I know what I want when I get married. I want children, I have given this matter to the Lord. He decides when I am to have children and how many. I WILL not control this myself. Why, why would you want to?

I admire large families. I smile and praise the Lord when I see a pregnant mother. Especially when it's a godly family. Because I know that these parents are going to bring up another disciple for Christ. There are so many Christians, yes Christians, who say, "No more!" Don't they know what they are doing? They are rubbing off a blessing which God wants to give them. Little girls turn into little mommies when a new little addition is added to the family. A baby is a gift from God, it's a joy! Children are mostly happy when mother and father say "We're expecting!" I know I do! I want to give all my children to God. We need to bring up more godly men and women. Look at the Muslims, they have children, numerous amounts, because they want to take over this world with expanding their population. Us Christians shy away from this, and think this is absolutely crazy.

I don't know if you have ever heard of the Duggar family, but I just found out this past week that they are expecting baby #18! Isn't this amazing! I find this sooooo wonderful! I want this. I don't find any other gift, than a baby, more enjoyable. It's a blessing from God!

The first commandment given to man was to have children. “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth.” Genesis 1:28

There are so many young girls these days who already say no more than 2. Most people think it's perfect when you have a boy and then a girl. No it's not! It can't be perfect because it certainly wasn't God's will, if you stopped it with your power. God doesn't give everyone 18+ children, however, whatever he desires for you to have. Leave it up to him! Allow God to decide when enough, really is enough!

Any idea?!

Just to give all of you a glimpse of my next post, this is what to expect...

Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate. Psalms 127:3-5

Any idea?! Well, just wait for the upcoming days, it'll be a good long post! Maybe convicting too?! :)

Returning...

Funny picture, huh?! HA-HA! My family is coming back from Germany tomorrow! They will land at 4:40 PM. But actually their plane will leave at 2:25 PM, (German time), which makes it only 7:25 AM, our time. So, at 4:40 PM, it will be 11:40 PM in Germany. Get it? Yeah, it sounds a bit confusing?!

I'm soooooo very excited. Two weeks seemed like forever! But I sure had a great time with my dad and older brother. Lots of joking around. Even though the house has been kept nice and neat, and you don't have to run the dishwasher every day, and do a load of laundry often, I wouldn't trade all that for my funny and loud cute siblings, and a great mom! They are all worth it, and make my life enjoyable! What would I possibly do without them? I'd be bored, or probably I wouldn't know any difference! I can't wait to hold my little sister again! They are looking forward to step on American soil again! My little sister said something like this..."Nessa (me), I'm coming to America!" Cute, huh!

If any of y'all think of them tomorrow, please voice a little prayer in your mind!

Cry for this land!

Hey my friends and blogging friends! I'm sorry that it has been awhile since I've posted a line or two. But this weekend I was with some very dear friends of mine. This family just had their fifth baby and I went over there from Fri-Sun. and had such a great time! The children are from the ages of 6-4 weeks. So, just being around and helping out was great! It was an amazing experience seeing a family with smaller children manage around. It was very interesting!

Anyways, with all that said, I want to tell you the reason what I'm posting.

Today when I was in church I experienced the Holy Spirit moving in me. It was such a powerful thing, that I can't go without crying. In our church we have these altar benches where so many tears have been shed. My heart felt so heavy, I feel for this land. What is going on here in America? We need to stand up and pray, pray for this land. We can't go on and just live our lives, we can't just ignore all this evil which is going on. Do you feel ashamed when you hear or see something which is evil? Or do you just laugh and think it's all funny? Whenever I see or hear which is so disgusting evil, I feel so burdened, I feel so heartbroken. My heart hurts, to just see these foolish people in this world wandering around like lost sheep. My friends, are we going to just block all this away and forget about it and continue our daily thing? Do you just go to church because your dad or mom want you to? Do you just pray because it's what you were told? Or do you really pray from the bottom of your heart, crying out to God, pouring all your troubles to him, and living and showing your life to others, to this world?

I don't know about you, but I feel for people of all ages and especially for our land. I will often just cry both physically and mentally. I will have tears running down my face, crying unto God, crying for our nation, this wicked and perverse world! There are so many people in this world who are lost, and it's up to us to show them how to live our lives. We need to show them and tell them the reason why we live. What is your reason? Why do you live? Do you have a goal in your life? Or are you one of those who are lost, wanting to find something which you have been lacking of for years? Friends, it's about time that we wake up, we as the Christians HAVE to show our light. Pray that God will cause his face to shine upon you. You want this, at least I do.

My walk with Christ has become so much more deeper over the past few months. There were things which I did, lets say last year which I cannot even imagine anymore. I cannot stand it, my heart breaks! I personally don't like to be out of my home past dark, because these stores these days are evil. You know sin is just lying right there. I can just see it. I WILL not place myself there. I feel ashamed and dirty if I do, I feel rotten, I feel not right to do so. I am God's child, and I am honored to be so. I treasure the moments I have together with my God, I would not ever trade it for anything!

Please stand up, be different, I strive to be different, when trials come it's a blessing because it is only bringing me closer and closer to Christ! Let your light shine in this world! Be the child of God, show it, people will notice if you are following Him 100%. Be the one to to change someone else's life. Either man, woman, or child! Get out of your routine, and make a difference! This is why we live, to glorify the Lamb of God! He's the one who takes away the sin of the world. Be disciples! Fall on your knees and PRAY!

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matthew 5:16

Lessons on Purity

Thanks for those who voted on my poll! I found this amazing blog today when I was under Letter From Christ. You all need to check it out.... www.practicalpurity.blogspot.com

I find it a great blog and inspiration to young girls. I was reading a post about boys and the youth group, very interesting! I'm just lucky that we don't have a youth group in our church, that's because we belong to a Family Integrated Church! Very neat! :)

Also, go to www.unhiddenlight.blogspot.com and read up the latest there. I read an amazing post today, it was really speaking to me and just how important it is for us to keep our purity. Because we all do say, "Oh yeah, I'll keep pure, don't ya worry!" But do we really mean it??? Or do we just say it to fit in with our Christian friends? Do you mean it from the bottom of your heart to keep your purity till the day of your wedding? Or actually until you kiss the man God has for you? Can we say with a pure conscience, "I am willing to stay and keep my heart from immorality, and WAIT FOR MY BELOVED!" My friend, I sure hope you can. Wouldn't it be so beautiful to say on your wedding day, right before you kiss your groom, "Thank you oh Lord, for helping me staying pure all the days of my youth!" Isn't that just an awesome statement? Also to thank the man you were courting!

Maybe there have been moments back in your life where you really regret what you did. Perhaps, you feel like you will never be pure again because you maybe did some type of immorality? Another very important thing I want to tell you is, 'Never ever develop a friendship with a guy!' You may think that this is just a bro/sis kind of relationship, or maybe you think you can help this poor, miserable guy. Don't fall for that trick! You are causing yourself more harm than anything. Even if you find guys that are nicer and easier to hang around with than girls, than make the choice to have no friends at all. I'm not saying to totally distance yourself, but don't hang around a guy 24/7 and most certainly NOT ALONE! Keep always a light in the back of your mind, and remember that it can be dangerous. We as girls do have the tendency to attach to a male friend. We also can tend to get very emotional. No, I have never done it, but I have read in books about it. It can ruin your purity. Don't fall for it. Married or unmarried, it's NOT good idea! I'm guilty about it, I have had in the past friends who were guys, and believe it may seem that you are getting all the attention, but the wrong type! I have made friends to a sense with some who shouldn't even be considered a 'friend.'

It is never too late to regain all your purity, even if it's all gone, fall on your knees and shout out to GOD, cry unto him, speak to him, and ask him for forgiveness. I have heard of girls who have actually wasted their purity on the wrong one, but they got back with the Lord, and he forgave them, and now they are working on it, and are doing very well and living righteously. It's not too late. Or perhaps you are one of those who haven't wasted your purity and maybe some are mocking you. Don't listen to them, stand strong, and let me tell you, YOU ARE BLESSED. They're aren't many girls and guys these days! Keep it up, believe me, you will have a great story to tell your own girls someday about your teen years. I have kept my purity, and have never given it to any guy, and will NOT ever! There were times last year when I did mess up, but thanks God that I had common sense not to give it away and act foolish! We need to leave a GREAT and GODLY legacy for our future generation(s)!

Hallelujah!

New Blog

Recently I came across this really amazing blog. I've been on it often and have finally decided to share it with you guys.

Allison seems like a really amazing girl trying to do that which is right in this wicked world. It looks like she has similar beliefs just like the rest of us. We need to stand up, there aren't many girls these days who do. Everyone is going with the flow. Check out her blog at

Thanks Allison for standing up! God bless you all!

Busy.....!

Wow, it's May! I can't believe how fast this year is going by! Just one more month and we're half way through!

I have been busy. Last night, we took my family to the airport to fly to Germany. Since my mom is German her parents live there (my grandparents) and it has been 4 years since she has seen her mother. And my siblings haven't seen their grandmother. My little sister will be 4 soon, and didn't even know who grandma was! So it was very much needed. But, my big brother Marc, dad, and I stayed behind. Only my mom and three younger siblings were able of going this time. So, I've been busy with school, and cleaning the house. There's a lot more work to do when there isn't any little ones around to help. I have two weeks to get used to it, it'll be hard. I miss them, not only seeing them, but having the noise. Just the laughter, and even the fighting! I've never been away from them for two weeks. They'll come back May 15. Just 15 more days! :( There's a 7 hour difference in Germany too, right now it's almost 5 over here, but over there it's almost 12AM. So, talking on the phone is a bit difficult, because it has to be a decent time for me, and for them! So, if any of you guys think of them, voice a little prayer in your mind for their protection! I'll blog later this week.....!
