Choose life for 08!

This year's elections are coming around fast. I can remember so vividly when George W. Bush went for his 2nd term in 2004. Yet, another 4 years came around quickly and here we are once again in the limbo with whom to vote for. However, Barack Obama may seem to be appearing well educated, and plans to change America in a great way. What does great mean in his eyes. I don't know much about Obama to make a statement, so I will be careful with my words. Although, Obama is for one thing which is enough for me to vote (if I could) against him. He stands behind abortions and wants to make it allowed. If a mother goes to a Planned Parenthood and decides to have an abortion, this baby, if it makes it, will be killed if Obama gets elected as president. I don't simply understand how a man can make a law like this. How can you! If a baby survives the abortion and comes out of the mother alive, Obama will have this infant killed on spot! Are we to support this or stand up to make a biblical difference? This is up to you. I choose McCain, he is for life, we should vote life. Not death. All those who are for death will surely reap the consequence. What does the sixth commandment say? 'THOU SHALT NOT KILL'. Yes, abortion is killing a baby which doesn't have the chance to live. Vote for life! It lays on your conscience, who will you choose?

I might live in Canada, but I agree with you. I'm not sure if you have ever heard of Gianna Jessen, but she survived a saline injection abortion and survived. She's got a great story and I recommend it. You can watch it on youtube. Could you maybe guess that Gianna is Not for Obama? :)

Hey Vanessa - it's Erica - ÜÜÜ!! I totally back you up on that. God has given us life and it's a precious gift. If someone commits adultery or if a girl is raped and she becomes pregnant, that child still has a right to live because it didn't even choose life in the first place! It deserves to taste sweet breath, even if it is given up for adoption. What Obama wants to do with babies who survive abortion is sick and inhumane. It's murder - plain murder. M-U-R-D-E-R... plain as day. It's evil in the sight of God, just as bad as abortion itself, and all who participate will be punished. I grieve for those babies. If something as precious a gift as life is given, why should we take it away? What right do we have? No rigth at all. But God ha given us choices to make, and voting a VERY important choice. Deuteronomy 30:19 "I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, [that] I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:..." That's plenty for me to say "vote for McCain and not Obama." Think of all the precious, potential lives that could be saved! There is nothing more precious than life itself, and if we vote for life, opposed to everything else, we will be blessed for doing so.

I agree that Obama is the worst choice America could chose for your reasons and so many more. Look at the people he is involved with! America is so blind. But even if he wins (which is so likely) God is still on the throne and as Christians we can trust His plan.
Thank you for your post...

I was reading the second comment and was just thinking, if a baby is concieved by a rape, it's still a God-given baby! And if God didn't want that baby to come, He wouldn't have let it! And as Gianna Jessen says, 'if abortion is all about women's rights, then what were mine?' ~Lissa
